Letur
Member of Los Pueblos más Bonitos de España
An Islamic street plan survives almost intact in Letur, with whitewashed houses, patios and old irrigation channels, and it won the village historic-site status in 1983. Around it, in the Sierra del Segura, streams form caves, waterfalls and bathing spots. Prehistoric rock-art shelters in the surrounding hills form part of a UNESCO World Heritage listing.
