Cingoli
Member of I Borghi più belli d'Italia
They call Cingoli the Balcony of the Marche: from its belvedere at over 600 metres the view runs across the region to the Adriatic, and on clear days to the mountains of Croatia. The walled town occupies the site of Roman Cingulum, fortified by Caesar's lieutenant Titus Labienus, and was named Borgo dei Borghi for 2026.
