Framura is not one village but five hamlets scattered along an indented stretch of the Riviera di Levante, from Setta with the town hall to Costa, Anzo, Ravecca and Castagnola. In Costa a ninth-century Carolingian tower serves as the bell tower of San Martino, and 16th-century watchtowers recall raids by Turkish pirates. Above rises Monte Serro; below lie coves whose water has earned the Blue Flag.
