Inside Monte Castello di Vibio's intact medieval walls stands the Teatro della Concordia, built in 1808 by a group of local families and billed as the smallest theatre in the world. The car-free village rises 423 metres above the Tiber valley, and from its main square the view takes in the hill of Todi and the river's wide bends among olive groves and cypresses.
