Verezzi
Member of I Borghi più belli d'Italia
Every summer a theatre festival of national standing fills Piazza Sant'Agostino in Verezzi, beside a 14th-century chapel, earning the municipality the nickname 'the theatre town'. The hill village is made up of four hamlets, Crosa, Piazza, Poggio and Roccaro, about 200 metres above the Riviera di Ponente, while its partner Borgio lies down by the sea.
