Trevejo
Member of Los Pueblos más Bonitos de España
The ruined castle of Trevejo, rebuilt in the 15th century and long held by the Order of St John, stands over a tiny hamlet of well-kept traditional houses in the Sierra de Gata. From this strategic perch the view takes in the whole district and the surrounding ranges. By the church of San Juan, graves shaped to the human body are cut into the granite.
