Beuvron-en-Auge
Member of Les Plus Beaux Villages de France
In the meadows of the Pays d'Auge, halfway between Caen and Lisieux, Beuvron was once the seat of a branch of the Harcourt family, whose last lord was made Duke of Beuvron by Louis XVI. Only ruins and the mound of the ducal castle remain. Old manor houses survive around the village, and apples link it to Hirosaki in Japan, its partner town since 2012.
