Le Malzieu-Ville
Member of Les Plus Beaux Villages de France
Medieval ramparts, now protected, are the mark of Le Malzieu-Ville, a mountain town on the Truyère in the old Gévaudan country of northern Lozère. Besides the walls and the church, the town has a leisure park along the river. General Louis d'Aurelle de Paladines was born here in 1804.
