Count Aymo Maggi, one of the creators of the Mille Miglia, owned this farming hamlet near Pandino, and it keeps the look of an old rural estate: yellow-washed houses trimmed in red brick, linked courtyards and porticoes at the end of a tree-lined avenue. Fallow deer, brought in by the last countess, wander among the cattle and horses. Planning rules allow no new building, only careful repair.
