Grottammare
Member of I Borghi più belli d'Italia
Grottammare has two faces: a beach resort on the Riviera delle Palme, its marina laid out on a grid in the 18th century, and above it the Paese Alto, the old village on the hill. Its walls took their final shape in the 1500s, when Saracen pirates raided this coast. Pope Sixtus V was born in the town.

- The walls and old houses of the Paese Alto
- San Martino, a Romanesque church on the site of a temple to Cupra
