      Your journey starts in Rochefort-en-Terre, a Breton village on a rocky ridge. Visit the neo-Gothic château that a painter once restored, and the Naïa Museum of fantasy art. Try the region's kouign-amann, then stay the night here.

    Granite houses and pilgrims at Locronan

      Locronan's granite houses frame a paved square with a well. Step into the church of Saint-Ronan and the Pénity chapel with the saint's tomb, and if you come in July, join the pilgrims on the Troménie. Spend the night here, once the square has emptied.

    A fishing village on the Rance estuary

      Saint-Suliac faces its little harbour on the Rance estuary. Climb Mont Garrot for the view over the water, or follow the coast path, the GR 34, towards the tide mill. Spend the night here, beside the estuary.
